On 23 December 2025, the Electricity Authority filed a complaint with the Rulings Panel. The complainant alleges that Genesis Energy Limited breached clauses 13.82(2) and 13.82(3) of the Electricity Industry Participation Code for dispatch non-compliance.

On 2 September 2025 the Electricity Authority filed a complaint with the Rulings Panel. The complaint alleges that Transpower, as grid owner, breached clause 4(4)(a)(ii) of Technical Code A of Schedule 8.3 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code (Code) when the operation of a protection scheme was not selective, resulting in the temporary loss of supply to the Huirangi grid exit point (HUI0331) on 14 February 2023.

On 4 June 2025 the Electricity Authority filed a complaint with the Rulings Panel. The complaint alleges that Transpower breached clause 12.113 of the Electricity Industry Participation Code 2010 when it failed to adhere to good electricity industry practice in connection with the maintenance of an interconnection asset which failed on 20 June 2024.
